Westward Makers goes back 10 years ago when I first made my appearance at a good friend's benefit concert. He was making every effort to raise money to go on a trip to help build and staff a recreational center in Pichilemu, Chile called Pura Vida. I couldn't wrap my head around the idea that someone wanted to work so hard to raise money, travel to a foreign country, then work even harder by serving others without anything in return.
This was a Love that didn't make sense to me. By the end of the night I was soon going to realize, this Love was going to change the course of my life and be the beginning of a powerful apparel brand that does amazing things by reaching out to people who need our help.
